The game really did an excellent job of bringing this theme to life and the game was full of goals being scored and rowdy stadium music. The only thing missing were the soccer hooligans. The first thing I noticed about this slots machine were the symbols. I loved the fact that they were all very theme oriented as it really served to make the game more engaging and thusly more exciting. It was also really easy to pick out the special symbols which helped to facilitate the excitement of the slot. The betting options were also pretty well done but weren't great. There were only nine pay lines that players could bet on and I just really didn't think this provided a high enough overall winning percentage that is necessary for a really great slots machine. The sound effects offered on this machine were actually really well done and I thought they really helped bring the theme to life. For once it was nice not to have to immediately reach for the mute button.

The wild symbol offered on Goals Of Gold Slots was a little disappointing. The symbols itself was a picture of four soccer players standing side by side. This symbol appeared on every reel and could be used to substitute for any symbol in the game other than the scatter and bonus symbols. To me this symbol really should have had a bigger impact on the game. While playing it just seemed kind of like a foot note and I really wish the designers would have included some other feature such as a prize multiplier to really make this symbol stand out.

If three scatter symbols appeared on the screen then fifteen free spins were awarded, if four appeared then thirty free spins were awarded, and if five scatter symbols appeared then forty free spins were awarded. I thought this was a really great feature because of the amount of free spins awarded whenever three scatter symbols appeared. This was incredibly easy to activate and you can really rack up some big money in fifteen spins.

This symbol appeared on every reel and its only purpose in the game was to activate the bonus game. When the bonus game was activated players were taken to a separate screen you had to try and score goals. You were give five kicks and the more shots you made the more money you received. I thought this was a really cool bonus game. It was short and sweet and could lead to a really decent prize if you scored all the goals possible.

Overall, I thought this was a really cool five reel slots machine. The features the designers decided to include really served to provide enough excitement to keeping me interested in this slots machine for a long period of time. Though I wish they would have added a little more to the wild symbol the other features more than made up for this.
