Freak Fruit Slots is a classically themed five reel slots machines. There were some very good things that the designers did on this machine but I definitely think there as some room for improvement. The one thing I really liked about this slots machine was that it was kept very simple. There weren't any cumbersome or complex features included on this machine and you really start it and start playing immediately with a full understanding of all the features. The first thing I noticed about this slots machine were the symbols that were included. I liked the fact that they were kept very simple and all the symbols were very unique from one another. This meant that I never ran into any problems confusing the symbols with one another which really helped the game run much smoother. The visual graphics on this machine were above average but my favorite part about this is that they were good enough to ensure that I never ran into any kind of glitch in the game play or additional loading screen once the game was underway. This, along with the symbols, really helped the game run smoothly.

The wild symbol was nothing amazing on this machine and was one of the areas I thought could have been easily improved. The symbol itself was a picture of two cherries with the word wild in front of it. This symbol appeared one very reel and could be used to substitute for any symbol in the game other than the scatter and bonus symbols. I really wish the designers would have included some other feature, such as a prize multiplier, to really help this symbol have a bigger impact on the overall game play.

A picture of a pear with the word "scatter" above it served as the scatter symbol on Freaky Fruit Slots. This symbol appeared on every reel and was used to award a prize whenever two or more appeared anywhere on the screen together at the same time. In addition to this, the scatter symbol was also responsible for activating a free spin bonus feature. If three scatter symbols appeared on the screen then ten free spins were awarded, if four appeared then twenty free spins were awarded, and if five appeared then forty free spins were awarded. This was probably my favorite feature on the game because it was the one activate most often and is where I won a majority of my prize money.

The bonus symbol offered on Freaky Fruit Slots was a picture of an assortment of fruit with the word "bonus" above it. This symbol appeared on every reel and was used to activate the bonus game whenever three or more appeared anywhere on the screen together. When the bonus game was activated players were taken to a different screen where you had to choose a blender to make you tropical drink. You were then awarded a random prize and the game was over. As always with 888 software the bonus game was very simple but I thought it got the job done because it was definitely something worth playing for especially since it awarded some large prizes.

Overall, I thought this was a very solid slots machine but not much more. There just wasn't any feature included that really made the game stand out in my mind. I doubt that I will remember that I have played this game a few days from now, due to its lack of originality, and that means I definitely won't be coming back for a repeat play.
